Lorain County JVS is a Career and Technical Education Training Center. It consists of a public high school for students in grades 9-12 and the Adult Career Center which offers training and educational opportunities for adults.

REPORTS TO: Director of Technology WORK WEEK/YEAR: As per Board-adopted calendar MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma and proper certifications/experience Ability to diagnose and repair PC hardware Ability to diagnose and resolve Microsoft Windows issues Ability to diagnose and resolve Microsoft Office issues Ability to troubleshoot large printers and copiers Knowledge of computers and networks Knowledge of best practices for cybersecurity and patch management Ability to communicate ideas and directives effectively both orally and in writing Ability to establish and maintain timelines and meet deadlines Ability to follow both written and verbal instruction efficiently Evidence of strong organizational and problem-solving skills Team player – willingness to work effectively in a team environment Required to carry, lift, haul, push or pull assorted items as needed Flexibility to work various schedules in multiple locations if needed DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge of Microsoft Server Knowledge of Office 365 Knowledge of Current Mac OS / iOS Devices Knowledge of VOIP Phone Systems Knowledge of LMS / Educational Platforms Knowledge of Meraki devices and dashboard Willingness and eligible to obtain school van driver’s certification “The Lorain County Joint Vocational School District does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, disability or age in its programs and activities, and provides equal access to the Boys Scouts and other designated youth groups.”
